Just Checking
Before we carry out your CTF options request, we need to do some identity checks. This isn't anything to worry about and should be a fairly simple process. We explain the process in more detail below.
To help make these checks as fast and simple as possible, we’ve teamed up with Yoti. This is an app that gives you a safe and convenient way to prove your identity and credentials, online and in person. You can find out more about Yoti including how they are regulated and which organisations work with them here. It’s important that we perform these identity checks to make sure somebody else isn’t trying to access your money.
How does it work?
Yoti allows you to digitally upload your identification (i.e. take a photo of it) and use your phone to identify yourself. It uses 256-bit encryption for data security and allows you to choose which parts of your identity you want to share.
It’s already being used to check identification in nightclubs and supermarkets, and once you’ve registered, you can use Yoti to verify your age and/or identity in many different places.
Getting started.
To get going with Yoti, simply click on the button below if you already have an account. If you need some more help setting your Yoti account up, hit the text “How to set up Yoti” below the button for a detailed walkthrough about what you need to do.
Do I have to use Yoti?
No. If for any reason you can’t or don’t want to use Yoti, this doesn’t mean you can’t access your money or transfer it to a different savings account. We will still have to perform identity checks, but we will do this in a different way.
Call our CTF team on 01924 240164 and they can talk you through how to do this. It may be that it will take slightly longer to carry out the ID checks this way, so the sooner you can call us, the better.
