2017 Challenge

Do you think you could walk, run, swim or cycle from Wakefield passing through all capital cities of the five nations (Edinburgh, Belfast, Dublin, Cardiff, London and back to Wakefield) – a whopping 1,128km in total?

At Kingston Unity, we believe that together we are stronger. In fact, we’d like to think that most things are possible if we all pull together. This is where you come in. We want to hear about your achievements, whether it’s your latest marathon or your first unaided width of a pool – it all counts!

We’ll record all distances members achieve throughout 2017 and hope to reach our five capital cities goal before the end of the year.

If you have been busy and have an achievement to tell us about, please complete the form below and we will add your distance to our totaliser. We really believe that together we can do this!

Distance remaining: 231.3 km

To support our challenge, we have commissioned a commemorative mug,  designed by an independent artist, Kate McLelland. Her final design is at the top of this page.

Kate’s beautiful illustrations can be seen gracing many books & magazines with a client list that includes Lonely Planet, V&A, Humanist Society Scotland & RBS to name a few.

Kate also sells her own prints and cards on www.finchandrobin.com – we particularly love her wildlife maps!

Should you wish to purchase a mug, these are available to buy at a cost price of £3 (plus p&p, or can collect for free at an event).
