Brief History
Branch was formed in Sunderland with the name All Saints Lodge No 233, as we met in the church hall of All Saints church from around 1860 until the late 1960's when we re-located our meetings to the Blue Bell public house and expanded our social functions.

Membership
Over 750 Members – 90% reside in Northumberland, Tyne & Wear, Durham and Cleveland. The remaining are scattered around not just the UK but around the world as they emigrated.

Benefits of Membership
We provide Members with the facility to save for their future through our saving and health schemes. We strongly support the principle of mutuality in our society. We also hold a considerable number of social functions each year.

Products Offered
Health & Long term savings - Available to both children & adults - a scheme that assists members incapacitated by sickness or accident, and assists with medical claims such as dental/optical etc. Any residue of money left in this fund is paid to the member an reaching age 65.

Health & Life - To pay sums of money at death, and provide a weekly sick pay. Age at entry 16-55 years.

Claims Restrictions: No restrictions

Claims Restrictions: We pay the full amount of a claim on provision of a receipt, providing that there is sufficient credit in a member's Medical Account.

Tax-Exempt Savings - Through our head office we can offer endowment assurance for members up to age 65 for sums invested not exceeding £25 per month.
