Antony Wright has almost 20 years experience as secretary. He has also been a district officer, a board member and is a trustee of the Society. Our chairperson is David Rooms, who also has almost 20 years experience, He was previously a trustee before becoming chairperson. The Branch is looking to the future, and encouraging younger members to get involved. The assistant secretary, Stuart Wright is only 23 years old but has been a member of the Branch for 12 years. The Branch serves the Hull & East Riding area but has members in many other parts of the country including West Yorkshire, Lincolnshire and Buckinghamshire. At present the Branch has almost 120 members.
St Georges Branch's aim is to provide sickness benefits and life cover with a long term savings and investment element. The Branch has in the past organised events which raise money for charity.

Product: Central (Additional) Health Active: Yes Minimum: 30 Maximum: 100 Restrictions: Must be a member of a Branch Health Scheme. Age at entry 16-55 years.
Account: Interest Claim Restrictions: None Total Withdrawal Restrictions: None Account: Medical Claim Restrictions: if the account has sufficient funds claims will be met in full.
Contributions: All new members are encouraged to pay monthly by standing order.
Many long-established members have decided to pay by this method. For the few members that still pay by cash - regular reminders will be send to ensure that members keep up to date with payments.
