Branches

Historically individuals used to become members by being invited to join their local Lodge or Branch and these were often linked to a particular type of employment or within a village. Regular meetings were held to pay subscriptions and agree payment of benefits and these meetings became an importantaspect of social life for many within the Branch with events being held andsometimes involving several Branches.

Today their are 14 Branches remaining (details of their location are elsewhere on the site) each with their own funds and slight variations on their Health, Life and low level savings products. Some still hold an annual social event but changing Society in general has resulted in declining interest from members in this type of activity. If you would like to know more about taking out one of the Branch products please contact the Secretary .

Currently if you take out one of the Society's saving products you will be assigned to a Branch to give access to the delegate voting structurewhich allows you to become involved with our Governance if you wish to do so.
