Peter Dawson
Position: Chairman
Peter has been a member of the Board since 2000. He is also a member of the Marketing and Remuneration & Nominations Sub-Committees.
Peter was born in February 1959. He is married to Sandra and has two children. Peter is Lead Technician at The University of Leeds where he has worked since 1988.
He is a member of the Board of the Faculty of Engineering and a member of the University Staff Advisory Committee. Peter has been a member of the Society since 1983 and a member of the Committee of Hearts of Oak for almost as long.
He is currently Chairman of the branch and is a past Chairman of Kingston Unity Leeds District.
Peter was previously Senior Independent Director andDeputy Chairman. He was elected Chairman in May 2011.
