Brian Kinsey
Position: Senior Independent Director
Brian was born March 1948, and is married to Christine. They have 3 grown up children and one grandchild. Brian retired in March 2008, having previously been an Operational manager of a number of teams within the Northern region of HM Revenue and Customs.
Skills utilised throughout his 43 years in the Civil Service include interpreting the law and financial accounts, managing personnel and undertaking internal and external risk assessments.
Brian has been involved with the Society through Lily of the Valley since 1985 and like many other members has reaped the financial and pastoral benefits.
He has actively been involved since 1991 as a trustee of the Branch and an authorised representative of the Society.
Elected to the Board in 2000 he wishes to continue to utilise his skills in management, risk assessment and financial planning.
Brian was previously Chairman of the Board and is now brings his considerable experience to the role of Senior Independent Director.
