About the Friendly Society
Kingston Unity 'The Friendly Society' has provided savings and protection for its members since 1840. We are passionate about our mutual status and providing for the investment and protection needs of our members.
We are a thriving mutual organisation of 12,000 plus members. Our head office is in Wakefield, but we have members throughout Britain, and we run 15 local branches – mostly in the North of England but with outposts in Boston, Chelmsford and Stafford.
You’ll find Kingston Unity’s headquarters within half a mile of Junction 39 of the M1, in a very accesible position. .

Our office is relatively low key and we don’t run a high-street style operation, but anyone – member or non-member – is welcome to drop by any time to discuss any matter to do with the Society, our products or our services.
